Tasty Thursdays: Bagel Smiles

Tasty Thursdays!

Bagel Smiles

We found these on a great site, Recipe Goldmine and fell in love with how cute they were!
These bagels are a fun and creative way to get your little ones to eat more vegetables.

What you'll need:
Whole wheat bagels (cut in half)
1/4 cup Ranch dressing
1/4 cup whipped cream cheese

Bagel face decorations:
Cheese slices (we like American)
asparagus spears
cucumber slices
cherry tomatoes (halved)
shredded carrots
red bell pepper
raisins
broccoli florets

What to do:
Toast the bagel halves
Mix Ranch dressing & whipped cream cheese together and spread evenly onto bagels

Have your kiddos use their imagination to decorate the faces:
cut the cheese slices into hats, use bell pepper strips as scarves,
raisins for eyes, shredded carrots and broccoli for hair

See who can make the funniest face, who can make their bagel face look like mom and dad, who can create a self portrait bagel!  Encourage your child to be creative!
