The Nerd's Wife....

One of the biggest worries for parents with small children is the first time your child separates.  Will she cry the whole time?  What if his caregivers don't take care of him like I do?  These are among the many questions that run through mom and dad's heads!

Back To School Parties

Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting the precious Hockaday Pre-K classes for their " Getting To Know You" back to school party!  The girls played in our Indoor Play Village, danced, jumped and rode the zip line in our Big Muscle Gym, created Sand Art projects, and enjoyed snacks-all while getting to know their new classmates!

Rocket Reading Camp

Summer 2013 at Kidville Dallas has been non-stop fun.  Our Camp Kidville campers enjoy a new fun theme every week like Stars & Stripes, Down On The Farm, Moovin' & Groovin', and more!  We have tons of elegant princesses and crime-fighting superheroes in our Fairy Princess-Superhero Training Camp and lots of "mad scientists" in our Sizzlin' Science Camp.

This summer we introduced a brand new camp called Rocket Reading Camp.  There are two sections-Beginning Readers and Emerging Readers-that allow for each camper to learn on their level.  We have had so much fun watching the Beginning Readers not only learn new letter sounds but blend those letters sounds to make words!  Our Emerging Readers have taken the letter sounds and words they already know and expand on all of that knowledge!
