Camp Kidville Week 1

Yay!  It's finally Camp Kidville time!  The theme of the first week was Jungle Safari and camp counselors couldn't wait to see all of the lions and tigers and bears that came to camp!

After checking in, our campers found their groups and started to enjoy all of the jungle inspired activities.

The Goldfish (18-24 months) enjoyed learning about different colors in the jungle and also learned about different noises that animals make.

The Panthers and Dinos (2 years) really enjoyed painting their faces like animals in the jungle.  They also got to decorate their very own snake to take home....don't worry mom, it's just a paper snake!

The Rockets, Space Invaders, and Stars (3,4,5 & 6 years) enjoyed learning different songs about the jungle.  They got the chance to play along with Miss KD and learn "The Lion Sleeps Tonight".  In Exploration, campers got an up-close look at different creatures like butterflies, spiders, and other insects with their special magnifying glasses.

Another big highlight of camp was the "Feed The Elephant" game with our Gym Specialist Miss Jessica.  Campers got to test our their hand-eye coordination skills while "feeding peanuts" to the elephant in our Big Muscle Gym.

Week 1 has been a blast and we can't wait to see what's in store for Week 2's Space Galaxy Adventure!
